Board of Directors
The FLYC Board of Directors is composed of five flag officers and six directors. Flag Officers serve a term of one year, while directors serve staggered terms of two years each.
Flag Officers consist of the Commodore, Vice Commodore, Rear Commodore, Secretary and Treasurer. The Commodore, Vice Commodore and Rear Commodore are elected by the general membership each year at the club's annual meeting and banquet, typically held in early November and are voting members of the Board of Directors. The Secretary and Treasurer are appointed by the Board and cannot vote at Board Meetings.
Directors are elected by the general membership for two-year terms such that half of the directors are up for election in any given year. This election also takes place at the club's annual meeting in the fall.
